The Oyster Shells

$65

The word Baroque comes from barroco, the Portuguese term for an irregularly shaped pearl, an imperfect form made precious. The oyster shell itself also reflects this paradox: a rugged, gnarled shell concealing a luminous interior capable of producing one of nature’s greatest treasures.

With three cavities comprised of two outer shells and one exposed interior, this silicone mold captures that tension between raw and wild vs fine and luxury.

Cake Opera Co.s OPERACAST molds are percise replicas of unique items that have been lovingly collected over many years. They are not contemporary reproductions of mechanically made or 3D rendered prototypes.
Consistant with their authenticity, there may be subtle "imperfctions" as they are casted from actual antique articles.
